Leadership

Our goal

All SMART-C activities are overseen by a Steering Committee comprised of the 23 leaders of completed SGLT2 inhibitor outcome trials. The Steering Committee is responsible for overall scientific leadership of the Consortium, and convenes regularly to review and discuss specific research proposals and prioritizes projects based on clinical importance, feasibility, and data availability.
